Solar models with accretion. I.

We generate new standard solar models using newly analyzed nuclear fusion cross sections and present results for helioseismic quantities and solar neutrino fluxes. The status of the solar abundance problem is discussed. We investigate whether nonstandard solar models with accretion from the protoplanetary disk might alleviate this problem. We examine a broad range of models, analyzing metal-enriched and metal-depleted accretion and three scenarios for the timing of accretion. Only partial solutions are found. For metal-rich accreted material (Z_ac_>~0.018) there exist combinations of accreted mass and metallicity that bring the depth of the convective zone into agreement with the helioseism…
Seasonal variability of radiation tide in Gulf of Riga

Diurnal oscillations of water level in Gulf of Riga are considered. It was found that there is distinct daily pattern of diurnal oscillations in certain seasons. The role of sea breeze, gravitational tides and atmospheric pressure gradient are analysed. The interference of the first two effects provide the dominant role in diurnal oscillations. The effect of gravitational tides is described both with sole tidal forcing and also in real case with atmospheric forcing and stratification. The solar corona, the outer atmosphere of the Sun, is heated to millions of Kelvin. This is several orders of magnitude hotter than the photosphere, the optical surface of the Sun, below, and a mystery that has baffled scientists for centuries. The answer to the question of how the solar corona is heated lies in the crucial magnetic connection through the atmosphere of the Sun. The magnetic field that threads the corona extends below the solar photosphere, where convective motions drag the magnetic field footpoints, tangling and twisting them. Šīs darbs izpēta īpatnības, uz kuriem paļaujas žurnālisti, kā arī apskata iespējamo ietekmi uz lasītāja uztveri Virsraksta struktūra ir paredzēta, lai saistīt lasītāja uzmanību uz rakstiem un raksta tematiem. Tas nozīmē, ka virsraksti ir īpaša veida teksti, pētījuma vērti. Šī darba mērķis bija pētīt leksiskās un sintaktiskās īpatnības un noteikt, kuras no tām ir sastopamas virsrakstos un vai tie ietekmē uz lasītāju. En ella, se saca a la luz diecisiete de sus documentales realizados en los estudios Iwanami Eiga entre 1950 y 1960 para cine y televisión, en su mayoría desconocidos en Occidente. Son frecuentes las aproximaciones cualitativas e intuitivas que se hacen en la escuela sobre el movimiento aparente del Sol por el firmamento que tratan de proporcionar al alumnado observaciones para que construya un modelo del sistema Sol-Tierra.
